Currently we do not ship to Portugal through our online store because Shopify (our platform) does not issue VAT invoices for Portugal which are needed for our accounting.
Shopify doesn't natively generate compliant VAT invoices for Portugal because of Portugal's strict SAFT (Standard Audit File for Tax) format requirements, which demand specific certified software for e-invoicing to the Autoridade Tributária (Tax Authority). While Shopify provides basic EU VAT invoices for other regions, it lacks this certified functionality for Portugal, forcing merchants to use separate, approved invoicing software or apps for full compliance.
